Do you own a rental property?

Do you own a rental property? Are you a landlord who needs a little help fixing up your investment property? Western Catskills Community Revitalization Council, Inc. is accepting applications for a HOME Rental Rehabilitation grant in Harpersfield, Kortright, and Stamford (including the Villages of Hobart and Stamford) in Delaware County; Ashland and Prattsville in Greene County; and Blenheim, Broome, Conesville, Fulton, Gilboa, Jefferson, and Summit in Schoharie County. This program provides funds to address housing health, safety and accessibility issues, improve energy consumption and more. Tenant incomes in improved apartments must be 60% or below of your county’s HUD median income limits. This is an opportunity that should be considered by all landlords in the eligible towns and villages. This program provides funding to rehabilitate apartments or the common areas of an apartment building. While a landlord match is required, the grant pays for most of the work. Applications and fact sheets for these programs are available by calling (607) 652-2823. For more information visit WesternCatskills.org.
